We had the most amazing evening at Refresh:Reload, along with over 100 guests.
The aim of the evening was to celebrate 10 years of Kinder Pocock, launch our new branding and say a huge thank you to our clients and supporters. We also wanted to share refreshingly different ways to do business online.
The event kicked off at The Shack Revolution’s new Pop Up venue in Bastion Mews Hereford with branded cocktails to greet our guests.
Our lovely guests had chance to chat and eat scrumptious pizza before getting set to hear our inspiring speakers.
So first up to speak was Heather Gorringe, MD of Wiggly Wigglers and The Great British Florist. The Great British Florist also provided flowers for our do 🙂
Heather shared with us how she has managed to sell the impossible online – fresh British #grownnotflown flowers, including Wedding and Funeral flowers, which you know can’t afford to to go wrong. Heather was also most generous on sharing how happy she is with Sharon and Kinder Pocock as her accountants (no crusty brown suits or teddy bear ties in sight) and how the business has developed using cloud solutions including Xero. We absolutely love working with Heather and her team – everything they do in their business is refreshingly different, and we love supporting them 🙂
Neil Armstrong from iResources and Neatly was next up. Phillip and Jon from iResources are responsible for our awesome new branding and our website. We love it!!! The team also made the roadtrip from Newcastle to attend Refresh:Reload!
Neil’s talk took us from where we were to where we are going in terms of cloud solutions. This included his time at NASA, his moon landing, and the amazing fact that the memory in your iPhone is bigger than the memory in the Apollo 11 – so your iPhone could land you on the moon. Serious!
We then had Alex from Receipt Bank, Leigh from Xero, and Cara from Spotlight enlightening our guests on all things cloud – and how easy it is to run your business online, freeing up your time to do what you love.
We love working with Xero, Receipt Bank, Spotlight and many other cloud solutions. It gives us a much clearer insight into our clients’ businesses, and so much more interaction with them, meaning we are better placed to advise and make their lives easier.
James and Rich Manning from The Shack Revolution rounded off our speakers.
We have only been working with them for just over a year, and moved them quite quickly over to Xero, Receipt Bank and Spotlight. It was lovely to hear them telling the crowd how much they enjoy working with Shazza P and Kinder Pocock, and how much more control over the business they have, with immediate access to their business data. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with them on the plans to open their new pop up, we are very proud accountants!!
Speakers over – time to party – you can’t have a 10 year celebration without a party, so we cranked the music up, Team Shack served cocktails, pizzas and The Better Bun Co buns and we opened up Marta May’s crazy photo booth!
We also sneaked in Kiegan the Magician to entertain the crowds!
